WAR MACHINE – Phase 6
Run Improvement and Strength Endurance
The final phase of War Machine focuses on maintaining your ruck ability while peaking your run times. On the strength side we focus on PFT improvement of the pullup, pushup, and situp.
Advanced
This program is for athletes that are ready for highly structured training.
Full Gym Required
This program requires access to a full gym with barbells, dumbbells, plates, racks, and kettlebells.
Hybrid Program
This program includes both Strength and Conditioning elements to make you not only strong, but fast.
Who it’s for:
War Machine phase 6 is for those that have completed the previous phases or those that have limited time to prepare for a selection course.
What it does:
Phase 6 is the culmination of the previous 5 months of training. In this phase you’ll peak your fitness in preparation for entry or selection.
What it’s like:
This phase is similar in design to phase 3. You’ll have an initial assessment then follow it up with % based training that focuses on bodyweight movements. You’ll also be working through a run improvement protocol simultaneously.
How long it is:
4 weeks of training with 6 training sessions per week for a total of 24 training sessions.
