This year will mark 2 years of being an Atomic Athlete, and I only wish I had joined sooner! I have always been an athlete & competitor, I grew up playing sports and constantly needing to challenge myself both physically and mentally. My first day of Atomic quickly humbled me and I realized how much room for growth I really had. About 2 years later, I'm getting stronger, faster, and more consistent.. and still pushing the limits for myself. I have committed to dialing in on my nutrition and lost (and kept off) 10lbs of fat, I've gained muscle, and somewhere along the way built the confidence to train for a full marathon. The best part about it is, I'm never alone. Other athletes have also committed to races & competitions outside of the gym, and it really brings the sense of community full circle when you can find like-minded people to meet up with outside of the gym to help you achieve your goals. It is definitely more than just a gym, it's a lifestyle.

I honestly love it here. Jake and Tod are the real deal. The programing is tippy top notch. Cool, welcoming, social vibe for athletes trying to level up. This place delivers in spades. Full disclosure: This gym probably is not for you if it is your first time ever working out. I am a kickboxer and distance runner, and it probably took me at least 6 months to not feel like I was on the struggle bus compared to the rest of the crowd. There were guys 20+ older than me running circles around where I was starting at; with that said, everyone was super cool and helpful as I learned the ropes, and it's been nothing short of a great experience. With all of this said, nothing I have done before ever got me in as good of shape as I have been via Atomic Athlete. I love how they have 5-6 classes a day, so if I miss the 10:45 class it's not like I am out of luck for the rest of the day as have multiple options to catch it later. Additonally, the way they curate the classes is awesome - they email the weekly programming ahead of time, so let's say Monday is chest day, I can bank on my legs being fresh the next day and plan for a long run Tuesday morning. Or if I want to go hard at kickboxing one day- I can see the next day at Atomic is a recovery day, so I can work around that. So really what I am saying is that this is an ideal situation for someone who does other sports or cross trains. Overall, if you are an athlete who is looking to get stronger, faster and harder to kill, this is the answer. Going 2-3 times a week is all it really took for me, some folks might go more, and I would not suggest this for someone going much less than that. It's a great value, awesome product and worth while membership for folks who are trying to level up in ways they could not do on their own. 9.5/10

I’ve trained with many gyms over the years. From golds gym to group training gyms including kickboxing gyms and they all left me wanting something, actual community. A lot of gyms say they have it but it still feels like working out with strangers after 6 months. If I wanted to work out solo I would stay home. Atomic Athlete has been the most welcoming gym I’ve trained in and they have an actual program opposed to move sweat rinse and repeat. I’m a middle aged recovering couch potato with some preexisting injuries that they have helped me train with while not aggravating so I can keep training. This gym is not just for experienced athletes but they train to be as fit as possible opposed to maintaining average.

This is the best gym in the world! I have taken so many different programs, gyms, classes etc in my life but this one has to be the best in so many ways. The programming is really specialized and you can see that they are not only pros but thoughtful as well. For someone like me who has a few injuries (mostly my knees) I have regained alot of strength and have felt like I have come back even stronger than before my injuries occurred. The teachers are very motivating and awesome! The community aspect of this gym is also very heartwarming and fun, I recommend either location!

Atomic Athlete is a great place to get strong and work out with other people looking to be “Stronger, Faster, and Harder to Kill”. The programming is next level and it’s monitored by a great group of coaches with a passion for fitness and helping you reach your goals. It’s not your typical CrossFit gym so you won’t be kipping pull-ups or doing complex lifts and breakneck speeds where you’re asking for an injury. 10/10 recommend. Did I mention you can hit up open gym at a time that works for you if you can’t make group classes?

This gym is easily the best in town. There is a vibe here that I can't describe...it is a real community. The coaches also use evidence-based training which I've never seen before. Science + exercise = GAINZ. But seriously, if you not only want to get fit but want to be durable as you get older...this is the place for you. 10 stars!!

Awesome community. All levels welcomed. I’m very beginner when it comes to gym weights and exercises—background is yoga and dance. But I have picked up so much since joining less than 3 months ago. The coaches are incredible and the people are even better. Can’t recommend more!

Best gym in Austin. I trained at Atomic when I lived here after college. After moving to CO I continued to use their online programming and their military ramp programming before I enlisted. My years of training with Atomic’s programing and coaching got me through a 2 year long Special Warfare pipeline without any injuries. When I moved back to Austin the first thing I did was sign back up! Worth checking out, you won’t be disappointed.

Great gym! Loved the 6am group training class. We almost always had our own squat racks, which was very nice. The coaches were very nice and helpful; programming was challenging and effective; and the other members were very welcoming! I travel full-time, so I have to switch gyms every month. This gym definitely sets a high standard for any future gyms I go to!

Great gym built on a foundation of a close knit community of athletes. Group clases (with option for open gym any time) consisting of barbell movements and conditioning (kettlebells, sprints, sandbags, tires, etc). Lots of good mobility work mixed in with a strong focus on performance, health, and longevity over short term gains.

Atomic Athlete is the best gym I’ve been to ever. The coaches are well educated and observant and help all the athletes to keep good form and pace. The programming is well thought out to help athletes progress in the different areas. I appreciate having the weekly workout schedule and week in advance so I can plan my activities around the gym. They have instructional video on YouTube which also help me understand the movements before I go in. The gym itself is clean and the class sizes are never too big.

The programming is purposeful and the coaches are very attentive during the classes. This is a great all-round gym for someone who’s worked out for years or for a first timer.

I purchased the Minimalist 2.0 package in July 2022. I am on my third time cycling through it. The flexibility of doing it at home is perfect along with the ability to increase or decrease the load for your own fitness level. I am a life long exerciser yet this program has significantly increased my fitness level. Highly recommend!

I've been training at Atomic Outpost for about a year. I'm a big fan of the group classes. I'm always learning something new and it's just fun to be around a solid group of members. I also enjoy the open gym concept. Outpost has been a great place to get a workout in on the fly at anytime. Lastly, and most importantly, the Coach's are second to none when it comes to programming and coaching. As a Coach myself, I very much respect the entire Atomic organization and without a doubt, highly recommend. Thank you Atomic for being awesome and always very supportive in so many ways.

I started Atomic with some apprehension, coming off of 5 years of a fairly sedentary life and multiple chronic injuries. The program allowed for variations to work around my injuries and modifications to allow for safe progression. The programming is designed for full body functional fitness and well-rounded athletes. I'm 20 sessions in and starting to feel and see the results. Atomic is a great gym with an amazing community of athletes and coaches to challenge and motivate the best in you.

Best gym I’ve ever been a part of! Within the first day of joining, all the coaches knew my name and now greet me every time I walk in. The coaches are very intentional in making you feel welcomed, valued, and challenged as an athlete and person. Atomic Athlete is not just a gym, but an encouraging community inside and outside its doors. I’ve been a member for seven weeks now and can already see significant improvements physically and mentally. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I have been going to Atomic Athlete for a few months now and it has been an amazing experience. The coaches are all incredibly knowledgable and always there to help out with form or answer any questions. It's very apparent that the programming is well thought out while still being individualized based on your ability. Even in a larger class, I always feel like I am receiving direct attention. On top of that, everyone in the gym is friendly and there is a strong sense of community. The results are guaranteed if you put in the work here and I strongly recommend checking it out.

I've been to many gyms in my day, and this is at the top.
The two biggest value adds are the coaching and the culture.
You will receive thoughtful, science-based, detailed workouts for every week. Combined, these workouts form what is typically a 4-6 week cycle, focusing on a different athletic trait in each cycle. For example some cycles may be strength focused, others strength endurance or different forms of cardio.
In class, they will run through the workout for the day. Focusing first on the "Why", next on the form (How) and finally some benchmarks on what's good, great and top-tier.
The classes always start on time, almost always run exactly an hour. It has the military strictness on form and start time. With the austin culture of inclusiveness, fun and family.
You can join an LA fitness for $50 a month. But you'll probably show up not knowing what you are going to do, spend 10 minutes figuring that out, not work that hard/quit 10 minutes early, all while having meh form.
Or you can join Atomic. Walk in knowing exactly what you will do each day and why, know it's written by someone who lives and breathes this, and be pushed just hard enough for a exactly an hour each day. Saving you time and giving you results!!
