Description

This 4 week program is designed to bridge the gap between our Foundation program and our Run Improvement Protocol. While the Foundation used multiple training modes to build an aerobic base this program focuses on transitioning the athlete into a running based program. Along with the primary goal of improving aerobic capacity, THE BRIDGE adds in intensity with a single quality run day each week, as well as a longer run.

 

 

 

DURATION AND TRAINING FREQUENCY:

  • 4 weeks long – 3 times per week

 

PRIMARY EXERCISES AND MODALITIES:

  • Running

 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

  • Watch with stopwatch function – preferably with Heart Rate function

 

SUGGESTED PROGRAMS EXECUTED PRIOR:

  • Foundation

 

SUGGESTED PROGRAMS UPON COMPLETION:

  • Run Improvement Protocol
  • Blue Falcon
  • The Soldier
