Phase 3 of the Top Gun Macrocycle is Slider.
Slider ramps up the intensity significantly by having multiple metabolite training sessions in each microcycle. This means that you’ll be working close to failure more often than the previous programs. With this in mind we do not suggest jumping into Slider without doing Jester first.
As with most of our programs this program is comprehensive in nature. The primary purpose is general strength and hypertrophy so that will be trained at higher volumes and frequencies. Work Capacity, Aerobic Capacity, and other attributes will be trained at a maintenance volume.
