We have two types of endurance programs. Those that build aerobic capacity and endurance, and those that are supplemental strength training programs for the endurance athlete. Regardless of your discipline, having a solid aerobic base is the foundation to any metabolic activity and should compromise a large portion of your training calendar. Although not the most exciting or youtube-worthy training session, the benefits cannot be overlooked, or gained, any other way.
